Job Description:
• Responsible in deliveries of High Quality Works and Services meeting Clients requirement
• Ensure the Works are delivered within budget and schedule
• Contribute towards the profitability of the Company
• To manage, supervise and control the fabrication dept in regard to works and resources planning and budgeting
• To develop good fabrication practices and reliable and efficient reporting/documentation system
• To develop the skill and knowledge of personnel under Fabrication Department
• To liaise with Clients through QA/QC dept and Engineering Dept to manufacturing requri ements and any change orders
• To maintain disciplined, QA and HSE conscious and motivated personnel under supervision
• To manage yard, shop facilities, fabrication works, painting and blasting, rigging, heavy lifting and maintenance works
• To plan, initiate and coordinate goods and services requirements through Procurement department
• To monitor and manage the use of consumables as well as machineries and equipment
• Contribute towards the implement company Quality Policy and Procedure
• Respect and abide to company HSE standards and legal requirement
• Contribute to the identification of environmental aspect and impact related to all activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor graduated in Engineering Mechanical / Civil / Metallurgy / Marine / Naval Architect
• Minimum 5 years experience in oil & gas fabrication & in similar position
• Able to speak & write English, good communication skill
• Able to operate Microsoft Program / office which is related with work purpose
• Working knowledge in project scheduling of fabrication processes

Job Description
• Ensure products buillt to spec requirement, direct schedule of welding, work within budget (man-hours), manage work load in department as well as quaility assurance.
• Responsible for the inspection of all welding activities.
• Inspection of consumables as per WPS as well as welding equipment.
• Able to read construction drawing very well and ability to interpret weld symbols.
• Prepare and check the quantity and quaility of the welding consumables to meet as required.
• Control and periodically check the electrodes baking,log book and maintain elec.baking temp.
• Ensure that accurate calibration records are maintained for all welding machines, inspecting and testing instruments for use.
• Prepare the weekly monitoring welder performance record and overall rejection rate.
• Ensure all crew under his direction understand their roles and responsibilities
• To prepare daily activities report, evaluate and analysis the progress schedule.
• Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by Project Manager from time to time.
• Contribute towards the implement company Quality Policy and Procedure
• Respect and abide to company HSE standards and legal requirement.
• Contribute to the identification of environmental aspect and impact related to all activities.
Requirements:
• Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5 years experience inn oil & gas fabrication.
• Senior High School, 10 years experience in oil & gas fabrication.
• Able to speak & write English, good communication skill,
• Able to fully understand construction drawings or mechanical drawing.
• Good leadership and communication skill
• Knowledge of various welding process and their applications
• Familiar with Code requirement & interpret weld symbols
• Possess professional certificate in welding
