We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

CONTRACT ENGINEER/PROJECT COST CONTROL
(Assignment: Kintap, South Kalimantan)

Prepare, review and monitor the implementation of contract’s scope of work and technical specifications, preparing tender documents with suitable conditions in order to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed in term of minimise any exposure to risk for company. Production and financial performance, Activity based costing and vendor responsibility matrix monitoring

Requirements:
1. Min. Bachelor degree from Engineering and any disciplines
2. Min. 1 years experiences in cost control and contract administration
3. Willingness to be placed at Project Site (Kintap, South Borneo)
4. Vendor/suppliers/subcontractors meetings and visits
5. Understand basic Coal Mining cost concept, activity based costing and cost accounting
6. Understand basic Coal Mining production
7. Ability to operate computer and other office facilities (especially Microsoft Excel program)

Responsibilities:
1. Assist Senior Cost Control to provide the cost report and Profit and Loss report, activity based costing report for the Project Daily, Weekly and Monthly Report in accordance with reporting deadlines to monitor achieving production and financial project
2. Detecting and reporting discrepancies, defaults or non-conformities in the Project Cost Forecast or records to the Project Manager as soon as they become known
3. Prepare Monthly Progress Claims and to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted and payment received within the payment terms of the Contract
4. Check that the cost element on each PR are correct also check that the remaining budget for the cost code is sufficient to cover proposal purchase, ascertaining PO has been cover proposed costs are considered to be committed and refer to the budget
5. Monitor contract implementation to ensure that both, client and company follow the contractual requirements of the contract to ensure that company is not exposed to unnecessary costs or penalties.
6. Create eARF/PR on system for additional/replacement of rental/hire unit
7. Monitor PR/PO routing approval
8. Check subcontractor invoice based on contract and create PR/PO for subcontractor invoice
9. Provide COP & back charge notice and send to subcontractor
10. Intense communication with vendor to monitor vendor responsibility based on Matrix responsibility between both parties

Main Responsibilities
To support and the coordination of the development project activities relevant to the Onshore Receiving Facilities ( ORF ) and Export Pipeline ( PL ) project with focus on detail engineering, construction, commissioning and logistic issues of new oil/gas production facilities, ensuring that commissioning phase and start-up operations of ORF and PL are conducted in safe, effective and efficiently manner with meeting the company target and to the satisfaction of all parties.

• Managing ORF& PL commissioning team activities
• Managing contracts relevant to the ORF&PL commissioning and start up vendors
• Ensuring that adequate, competent commissioning personnel are available to undertake the work
• Ensuring that all contractors are competent and fully knowledgeable of project HSEQ procedures
• Endorsing official documents, works progress certificates, handover certificates etc
• Providing operations start up support and assistance in ORF and PL

Qualifications required
• At least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities
